Please read these terms carefully before using our services. By accessing Sky Umbrella, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

⚠️ By accessing, browsing, or using the Sky Umbrella website (www.skyumbrella.shop) or any of our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "User," or "You") and Sky Umbrella ("Company," "We," "Us," or "Our"), a business registered and operating at Shop No 4, City Trade Plaza, Gurukul Road, Memnagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380052, India.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our website or services. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. Together, they form the complete agreement between you and Sky Umbrella.

Our Services

Sky Umbrella provides the following products and services to individual and business customers across India:

  • Retail sale of premium umbrellas including compact, golf, travel, and sun umbrella categories
  • Wholesale and bulk order fulfillment for businesses, retailers, and distributors
  • Custom branding and logo printing services for corporate gifting and promotional campaigns
  • Online order placement and tracking through our website www.skyumbrella.shop
  • In-store purchases at our Ahmedabad retail location
  • Customer support and after-sales service including warranty claims

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

Orders & Payments

Order Placement: All orders placed through our website or in-store are subject to availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for reasons such as pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity.

Pricing: All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of order confirmation.

Payment Methods: We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay)
  • Net Banking (all major Indian banks)
  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM)
  • EMI options via select banks and NBFCs
  • Cash on Delivery (available for select pin codes)
  • Bank transfer for bulk and corporate orders

Order Confirmation: Your order is confirmed only upon receipt of payment and our subsequent order confirmation email. We are not responsible for failed transactions due to bank or payment gateway issues beyond our control.

Bulk & Corporate Orders: For orders of 50 or more units, a minimum 50% advance payment is required at the time of order placement. The remaining balance must be cleared before dispatch of goods.

GST Invoice: A valid GST tax invoice will be provided for all orders. For GST-registered business customers, please ensure your GSTIN is provided at the time of order.

Shipping & Delivery

Delivery Areas: We currently deliver across all major cities and pin codes in India. Remote or difficult-to-access areas may involve additional delivery charges or extended timelines.

Delivery Timelines:

  • Ahmedabad (Local): 1–2 business days
  • Gujarat (Statewide): 2–4 business days
  • Major metros (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, etc.): 3–5 business days
  • Other cities and towns: 5–8 business days
  • Bulk and custom orders: 7–15 business days (subject to production timeline)

Shipping Charges: Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the delivery location and order weight. Orders above a minimum value (as displayed on our website) qualify for free standard shipping.

Risk of Loss: The risk of loss or damage to products passes to you upon delivery to the shipping address specified in your order. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, natural disasters, strikes, or other events beyond our control.

Damaged in Transit: If your order arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery and report the issue to us within 24 hours with photographic evidence. Claims submitted after 24 hours of delivery may not be accepted.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Return Window: We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for standard products, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Custom-branded or personalized umbrellas
  • Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or weather conditions beyond normal use
  • Products with tampered or missing serial numbers/tags
  • Bulk orders of 50+ units once the order has entered production

Refund Process: Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 7–10 business days. Refunds are credited to the original payment method. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchange Policy: We offer exchanges for the same or equivalent value products within the 7-day window, subject to availability. Exchange shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the exchange is due to a manufacturing defect.

Product Warranty

All Sky Umbrella products come with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects. This warranty covers:

  • Frame defects including broken ribs, bent shaft, or faulty runner
  • Auto-open/close mechanism failure under normal usage conditions
  • Handle attachment defects due to manufacturing errors
  • Canopy stitching defects or delamination of waterproof coating under normal use

Warranty Does NOT Cover:

  • Damage caused by winds exceeding the umbrella's rated wind resistance
  • Physical damage from dropping, crushing, or mishandling
  • Fading or wear of canopy fabric due to prolonged UV exposure
  • Damage caused by improper storage or exposure to extreme heat
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

To make a warranty claim, please contact us with your proof of purchase, a description of the defect, and clear photographs. Valid warranty claims will be resolved through repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Sky Umbrella website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, icons, product designs, and software, is the exclusive property of Sky Umbrella or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This license does not include:

  • Downloading or copying any part of the website for commercial use
  • Republishing, reproducing, or distributing any content without prior written permission
  • Using our brand name, logo, or trademarks without authorization
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any software used on our website

User Conduct

Sky Umbrella disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

  • The results obtained from using our services will be accurate or reliable
  • Product images on our website accurately represent the actual product color in all lighting conditions
  • Any defects in the website will be corrected within a specific timeframe

Product images and descriptions are provided for reference purposes only. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, minor variations in color, size, or finish may occur due to manufacturing tolerances or photographic conditions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sky Umbrella and its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use our services
  • Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in content on our website
  • Unauthorized access to or use of our servers or any personal information stored therein
  • Interruptions or cessations of transmission to or from our website
  • Bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through our website by third parties
  • Losses arising from use of products in weather conditions exceeding their rated specifications

In all cases, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service that gave rise to the claim.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically the laws applicable in the state of Gujarat, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms, our Services, or any transaction between you and Sky Umbrella shall be resolved through the following process:

  • Step 1 – Informal Resolution: Contact us directly at info@skyumbrella.shop. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
  • Step 2 – Mediation: If informal resolution fails, the parties agree to attempt mediation before initiating legal proceedings.
  • Step 3 – Jurisdiction: If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

You waive any right to a jury trial in any dispute arising from these Terms. Claims must be brought within 1 year from when the cause of action arose, or they will be permanently barred.

Consumer Rights: Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.
